Technology
Crops International offers the straightforward, low-risk grower
contracts you've been looking for. We already work with hundreds

trusted partner and an asset to their businesses.
Our Current Cropping Portfolio
High Erucic Acid Rapeseed (HEAR)
High erucic acid rapeseed crops are conventionally bred varieties
of oilseed rapeseed which produce an oil with a different profile
from 00 rapeseed. This oil is used in non-food industries around
the world.
Borage
Borage is a low input, fast growing, spring sown crop. The
seeds of this plant contain an oil which has a high level
of Gamma Linoleic Acid (GLA). Borage Oil (sometimes marketed
as Starflower Oil) is used in the dietary supplement and
infant formula markets.
This crop has to be swathed and
a pick-up header is required for combining. Full agronomic
advice and back-up is provided to growers throughout
the season.
Echium
Echium produces long-chain unsaturated fatty acids, which are precursors to EPA and DHA formation in humans. There is strong interest in this crop for medical, therapeutic and personal care applications. Echium is sown in the spring and takes 120 days to reach maturity. It will grow under a wide range of climates, soil types and soil acidity |
